near Post-season SFC...

Well, it's been quite a while since I've posted. All of my park sketches are buried along with my blackberry, but I tried a little mix-up here to somewhat prepare for the convention. That's where things will explode, I hope.

More to come...

sketches 'n stuff

So, a few more sketches from ye olde sketchbook, which is now full. Decided to try my hand at some gr'ffiti; one of my guys left his blackbook by mistake, and I was inspired by his work -- super clean, contrived lettering! Jose's the man!

errbrush

Some airbrushing at SFC... A few early customs to try and make some extra loot! and yes, cell phone pics...

Figures!

last one... about 30 mins.
4th... bout 20 mins
3rd... 20 mins?
2nd... 10 mins.1st one... bout 10 mins. Haven't drawn figures from life in a while!! about two years now... a lotta fun. MIAD has open figure drawing tuesday nights. Pretty cool. so, i know there's some issues with each one, but hey, gotta keep practicin! A little experimentation with color-fun!

An older one, but I still like it. Based on "It's bad luck to open an umbrella indoors." It's an old Egyptian thing, because of the Sun-King and it's basically a denial of his supremacy by blocking the sun's rays in your own home. Kinda cool.
I'm gonna see how many consecutive days I can go posting here. Gotta get busy!!

Jon Stewart

A little Jon Stewart, for the wall at Great America. This year, finally, the wall will be chock-full of celebs, rather than practices and rejects. Of course, there'll always be room for rejects--making the most out of our beautiful failures.
